Salary: $48,000 – $60,000 based on experience and skills.

Sought-After Skills for Higher Pay:

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, setup, and migrations.
  • Familiarity with PSA tools such as ConnectWise Manage and RMM tools such as ConnectWise Automate or Kaseya VSA.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments, networking, and client devices.
  • Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V virtualization setup & maintenance.
  • Knowledge of firewall configuration/management & network security best practices.
  • Experience working with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Exposure to Unix/Linux systems.
  • Experience implementing and managing Disaster Recovery & Backup solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
  • Direct experience working at a Time and Billing IT/MSP Company.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Provide technical support for client IT environments, resolving service desk requests. Most support requests are Level 1, with opportunities to work on Level 2 issues alongside our Senior Technical Team as proficiency increases.
  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and security issues.
  • Support client onboarding, cloud migrations (Microsoft 365, servers, networking), and IT project execution.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure remains operational, secure, and well-documented.
  • Maintain accurate client records and update ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to improve IT environments and service delivery.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

  • At least a 2-year degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
  • 2 or more years of IT support experience, preferably in an MSP or a similar client-facing IT role. This is NOT a trainee role. This position is for those already trained for at least level 1 IT support.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple client issues efficiently.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable working on-site (this is an in-office role).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site client visits.
  • Diligently track time and billing to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Availability to participate in on-call support rotations.

Salary: $48,000 – $60,000 based on experience and skills.
