We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Help Desk/IT Support team in our Chesapeake, VA office, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end users for computer, application, system, device, account maintenance, and hardware issues, with an emphasis on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune environments.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting of hardware and software systems, including printers, VPN connections, wired and wireless networking issues, and Microsoft 365 application suite challenges.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Manage device compliance and security using Microsoft Intune, including configuration, policy enforcement, and mobile device management (MDM) for both onsite and remote users.
  • Support Azurebased infrastructure, including virtual machines, Active Directory integration, and cloudbased application deployment and maintenance.
  • Document, track, and monitor issues using applicable systems and tools to ensure timely resolution and accurate reporting.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees, both remote and inoffice, including account setup and configuration in Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune.
  • Perform routine system maintenance and updates on workstations and servers, ensuring compatibility with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Support employee workstations and servers, including installation and testing of operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and enterprise software such as Apache Tomcat and Javabased web applications.
  • Support a virtual environment running VMware’s ESXi platform, including initial virtual machine configuration, establishing baseline templates, content library, virtual machine cloning, and snapshot processes, with integration into Azure where applicable.
  • Maintain hardware and software assignment documentation, including routine auditing and maintaining baseline inventory levels for Microsoft 365 and Intunemanaged devices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in an IT support capacity, with at least 2 years focused on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune administration.
  • Associate’s degree in technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 administration (e.g., Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Intune device management.
  • Working knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, virtual machines, and cloudbased application support.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, switches, routers, firewalls, UPS, and general IT infrastructure systems.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented, with strong research, problemsolving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance.
  • Ability to occasionally travel when required.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Security+, Networking+, or other ITrelated certifications a plus.
