Job Type & Location: Onsite | 200 Healthcare Dr, Lafayette, CO. Contract is initially 2 months starting from September, and is fully extendable based on candidate performance (may extend to long-term/ongoing).

Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2-3 years of IT infrastructure field support experience including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues while maintaining hardware warranty and security compliance.
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals and desktop applications.
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts. Ability to perform smart hand activities at sites under instruction.
  • Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Desk-side support and PC break/fix including basic administration of Windows O/S and MAC/Linux OS (preferred).
  • TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
  • Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, and multi-port data termination panels.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with systems and networks using deductive reasoning; address end-user network cabling issues and repeat problems with preventive actions.
  • Experience in problem management and in analyzing repeat calls.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with clients and management.
  • Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on time; proactive ownership and sense of urgency.

Qualifications

  • Preferably with an Associate Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • May have other vendor certifications from OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, Client).
  • Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of IT infrastructure field support experience including troubleshooting hardware, software, and OS issues.

  • Good customer management skills; strong oral and written communication.
  • Able to interact and work with customers at different levels.
  • Driven and results oriented; passionate about the work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team; able to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Must be available to work flexible work schedules.
