Field Maintenance Technician

NOW HIRING: Field Maintenance Technician Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour Job description: We are seeking a skilled commercial / residential field maintenance technician to join our team with expertise in a wide range of construction needs including plumbing, carpentry, electrical and basic to intermediate knowledge of all aspects of building construction. We respond to service calls with multiple retail chains and home remodels. We offer lots of paid travel time using company-provided vehicles. This is a great job for the right person! If you have basic maintenance / remodeling knowledge and a dedicated work ethic, we are willing to train. Responsibilities: Plumbing Repairs at Local Businesses: Diagnose and perform repairs on plumbing systems at local businesses. Execute plumbing tasks efficiently, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Carpentry: Undertake carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and repair work. Install and maintain wooden structures and components with precision and attention to detail. General Maintenance Service Calls: Respond to general maintenance service calls promptly and address a variety of issues. Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing functionality of facilities. Driver’s License Required: Possess a valid driver's license to facilitate travel to job sites. Safely operate company vehicles and adhere to traffic and safety regulations. Tools Provided: Utilize company-provided tools and equipment efficiently. Maintain tools in good condition and report any issues for timely replacement or repair. Travel to Job Sites: Receive travel arrangements from a centralized location to various job sites. Manage travel time effectively to ensure prompt response to service calls. Drug/Alcohol-Free Workplace: Adhere to a drug and alcohol-free work environment. Comply with company policies and regulations to maintain a secure and productive workspace. Qualifications: Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance. Strong knowledge of construction and maintenance practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license. Works well independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills. Willingness to accept "on-call" duties as needed. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
