This is a direct hire, full-time onsite position based in

Franklin Park, IL .

Position Overview:

SGL is seeking a reliable and adaptable Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support day-to-day warehouse operations and assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the warehouse team.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist receiving by checking condition of vehicle and cargo, as well as prepare and load vehicles and cargo into overseas container for export. Preparing cargo for export. Loading / Unloading cargo into/ from Overseas Shipping Containers. Receive cargo, issue condition reports, take receiving pictures. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Training will be provided. Qualifications/ Requirements:

Forklift license is preferred - must be able to certify within first six months of hire Experience in operation of a table saw, nail gun and basic tools Basic proficiency in English is required to communicate with internal/external employees and customers. Ability to read, write, comprehend for work related communication. Must be able to understand basic instructions and guidelines and participate in job-required training and assessments. Spanish is a plus Must be able to drive a stick shift vehicle and have a valid driver license. Must have excellent communication skills Self-motivated and excellent time management skills Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment to ensure shipping and receiving deadlines are met, and operate appropriate machinery. Attention to detail Problem solving attitude Active Listening Basic Computer and mathematical skills Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 70lbs repetitively during each shift Able to push, pull up to 2500lbs using manual pallet jacks Able to stoop, stretch, twist, bend, etc Ability to be proactive when dealing with customer complaints or requests Consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States Must pass TSA eligibility screening Job Type:

Full-time

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

8-hour shift (Monday to Friday)
