Position Summary The Newbuild Strategy Lead is a key member of Royal Caribbean Group's Newbuild Strategy team, supporting corporate, brand, and functional leaders in navigating a dynamic operating environment and executing complex organizational initiatives. This role involves working cross-functionally to set the long-term strategic vision for the department. Projects are typically top priority, high profile, and involve multiple departments, requiring ongoing communication with department leadership.

The Lead manages all aspects of project planning, tracking, and reporting for various strategic initiatives. Within the team, you will develop problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Royal Caribbean Group's Newbuilding Strategy team seeks a driven, self-starting individual capable of developing data-driven insights for senior executives. Ideal candidates will have outstanding communication skills, intellectual curiosity, a strong working knowledge of corporate finance, and advanced analytical skills.

Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and develop key strategic initiatives to achieve short-term priorities, long-term goals, and annual objectives.

Develop strategic insights from internal and external data and business analyses, including market, customer, and business analysis.

Analyze complex data to generate actionable insights.

Create presentations and visualizations using PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar tools to communicate findings and their potential impact.

Coordinate with departments and senior leaders to develop insights and drive projects forward.

Gather and analyze market and competitive information to inform strategic recommendations.

Lead team meetings and draft communications on project status for executive leaders.

Collaborate with corporate teams to align initiatives with the company's vision and strategy.

Develop communication methods for reporting project status to teams and management.

Perform additional duties as required.

Financial Responsibilities

Oversee the creation and management of project budgets, with oversight from Managers.

Negotiate contracts and cost savings with vendors in collaboration with Supply Chain Management.

Understand accounting principles related to expenses and capital activities.

Qualifications

Ability to perform duties independently; reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

B.S. degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field.

3-7 years of relevant analytical experience, preferably in management consulting or strategic corporate roles.

Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and capital markets.

Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.

High energy, sense of urgency, and ability to multitask under deadlines.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to reside in South Florida.

Language Requirements

Ability to interpret contracts, financial reports, and legal documents.

Effective presentation skills for top management, clients, and vendors.

Physical Demands

Ability to sit, stand, review, and operate a PC regularly.

Visual acuity including close and color vision.

Ability to move within the office and lift up to 10 pounds as needed.

Work Environment

Office setting with potential visits to ships, dry docks, and offsite locations.

Possible high noise levels; protective equipment provided as needed.
