What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Manage environmental permitting, regulatory strategy development, and construction compliance for various energy-related projects - Develop and maintain environmental policy and procedures manuals for compliance assurance - Prepare applications for project permitting with federal and state agencies - Oversee firms conducting environmental surveys and ensure accurate reporting - Prepare documentation and biological assessments for ESA consultation requirements
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or a related field - Minimum of 7 years of experience in permitting and environmental consulting for oil and gas projects - Advanced knowledge of environmental compliance regulations, including FERC and EPA guidelines - Strong technical writing skills and ability to communicate effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience managing client relationships and business development in the environmental sector - Familiarity with project management principles and practices - Knowledge of creating detailed proposals and cost estimates for client contracts
