In this role, you will be part of the
Environmental team
within the
Energy Services Sector , based in
Houston, Texas . You will lead environmental project management, including client management and business development. What a day at EXP has in store for you
Manage environmental permitting, regulatory strategy development, field surveys, and construction compliance for energy-related projects, such as pipelines, tank terminals, and downstream facilities. Develop and maintain environmental policies and procedures for project compliance. Manage and prepare permit applications for agencies like FERC, EPA, USACE, USFWS, SHPO, and local authorities. Oversee firms conducting environmental and cultural resource surveys, land use mapping, and permitting activities. Ensure documentation aligns with NEPA and FERC guidelines. Prepare biological assessments for ESA Section 7 consultations. Develop proposals and cost estimates for client contracts. What your experience looks like
Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or related field, with at least 15 years of relevant experience in permitting and environmental consulting for oil and gas projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook. Deep knowledge of environmental regulations from FERC, EPA, USACE, and USFWS. Experience in business development and client relationship management. Understanding of project planning, development, and evaluation within the energy sector. Strong project management skills. Experience with RFPs, bids, and tenders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with technical writing expertise. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and produce accurate, detailed reports.
