Right of Way Project Manager Location:
Evansville, IN
Responsibilities
Manage land survey projects in transportation/right-of-way, including boundary, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic, utility, and construction staking (a plus but not required) Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams Direct survey crews and technicians Review work of survey staff Take ownership of project revenue and performance Prepare Location Control Route Survey Plats Review title and encumbrance reports Prepare Right of Way Parcel Plats (Exhibit "B") and Legal Descriptions (Exhibit "A") Develop Right of Way Engineering documents, Parcel Documentation, Area Computations, L10, and Fee Taking Memos Develop Right of Way Plans Process field data into topographic surveys (a plus but not required) Analyze record documents to establish property lines, alignments, and easements (a plus but not required) Download GIS data such as LiDAR and aerial photography from public sources (a plus but not required) Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have passed the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam or hold an active Professional Surveyor License in Indiana At least 2 years of Right of Way surveying experience Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office INDOT prequalification in Right-of-Way Engineering is a plus
