In the role of

Resident Project Representative II , you'll count on you to:

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents Maintain accurate daily records of the contractor's activities and work performed, including labor, equipment, and materials used Review construction materials for contract compliance Track quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptance Attend and/or chair construction progress meetings Conduct observations of the installation and acceptance testing of completed equipment and systems Identify nonconforming work, develop project punchlists, and ensure corrections Develop record documentation for engineer review/acceptance Assist with project audit/closeout Work under the general supervision of a Construction Project Manager Supervise and direct the activities of junior Resident Project Representatives, Construction Inspectors, testing services, and subconsultants Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification Ability to interpret construction schedules Ability to problem-solve and provide solutions to the engineer Experience with NYCDEP and/or NYSDOT #LI-EH1 Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or relevant experience At least 5 years of progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects Understanding of contracts, codes, and laws governing construction Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Teamwork skills Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related packages Excellent verbal and written communication skills Active participation in our employee-owned culture What We Believe HDR is our company. The salary range for this role is $106,138 - $151,625, depending on skills, experience, education, and location.
