Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Travel ER Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Germantown, TN 38138 (Memphis area) Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center Employment Type: Travel Nursing (locum tenens) Unit: Emergency Room (ER) Start Date: October 6, 2025 End Date: January 5, 2026 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 - $1,910 ER RN Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room (ER) nursing experience (3+ years preferred) At least 1 completed previous travel nursing assignment Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher Valid BLS certification (must cover entire assignment) Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Driver's license must be submitted with application Experience in large hospital or trauma center preferred Cerner electronic charting experience preferred Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (strict requirement) All requested time off must be included at submission Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if assignment covers those dates ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a Level I Trauma Center Assess, triage, and manage acute patient conditions in a busy ER setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float between similar units and campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed Accurately document patient care using Cerner (preferred) Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required by the facility Maintain compliance with facility policies and travel nursing guidelines Germantown, TN, a thriving suburb of Memphis, is renowned for its safe neighborhoods, beautiful parks, and vibrant local culture.
