Aviation Project Controls Manager

will report to the Sr. Construction Manager. The Project Controls Scheduler will be responsible for data entry in Primavera P6, including assistance with schedule development, maintenance, progress measurement, change management implementation, monitoring, and analysis of program-wide or project schedules on major transportation projects. The candidate should understand policies, methods, and procedures related to planning & scheduling techniques, Risk Analysis, and Risk Management. Experience with industry-standard best practices using Primavera P6 is required. Preferred candidates will have experience with transportation projects and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract specifications. Essential Job Functions Assist in implementing project planning and scheduling strategies, plans, and procedures. Assist in coordinating the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) in coordination with Project Leads, Cost Engineers, and Contractor Project Leads. May assist with preparing contract time determinations based on plans and specifications. Assist with evaluating cost and/or resource-loaded planning schedules. Assist in evaluating baseline and monthly schedule submittals for compliance with contract specifications and deviations from the baseline. Monitor and track construction schedule progress by conducting schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and schedule risk analysis. Identify schedule activities that control the overall construction time or project's critical path. Identify and measure the impact of changes on project schedules through time impact analyses (TIA). Provide recommendations to resolve issues related to time, scope, and cost of project changes or delays. Prepare technical reports to communicate findings and recommendations. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies Experience using Primavera P6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of schedule analyzing software. Experience with cost and resource loading of schedules. Technical writing and report preparation skills, including graphic presentation. Practical knowledge of transportation construction concepts. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to collaborate across disciplines and work in a team environment. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience (other degrees/experience considered). Primavera P6 experience is mandatory. 3-5 years of scheduling experience, especially in transportation projects.

Work Environment

Employees will encounter moving machinery, uneven ground, dust, fumes, loud noise, and outdoor weather conditions during work. Safety precautions and awareness are essential. Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, stoop, crawl, push, and lift up to 50 pounds. Work may involve walking on uneven ground, working at heights, and in extreme temperatures or humidity. Other Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean record. Regular travel within 100 miles of the home office; occasional out-of-town assignments. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime. Background checks and drug testing are required for employment.
