Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established company in Little Rock, Arkansas. Responsibilities:

• Reconcile securities and cash accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
• Prepare and post journal entries during month-end close, while maintaining the general ledger.
• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, adhering to compliance standards.
• Support the annual financial statement audit by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Contribute to the budgeting process by preparing and analyzing financial data.
• Undertake special analytical projects as assigned to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in either public accounting or corporate accounting.
• Working knowledge of industry-specific systems and tools is essential.
• Certification or progress toward CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
