Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Systems Administrator II

to join our dynamic IT team. This mid-level position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in systems administration, network infrastructure, and technical support. You will play a key role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing our technology environment while supporting a range of enterprise systems and end users. Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows and Ubuntu servers, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft SQL and EntralD Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies Support backup and disaster recovery strategies, tools, and testing Configure, maintain, and secure network devices (switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.) Install and maintain system software, patches, and updates Respond to Tier II/Tier III technical support requests and resolve escalated issues Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability Document system configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes Collaborate with other IT staff on projects, security initiatives, and system upgrades Maintain IT compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) 35 years of experience in systems/network administration Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, pfSense, Open VPN, Cisco, Unifi, TrueNAS and XCPng Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or HyperV) Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, routing, firewalls) Experience with backup solutions, system monitoring tools, and patch management Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure Administrator, or similar preferred Skills & Attributes

Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits Ability to work independently and within a team Available for afterhours support or on-call rotation as needed Benefits
