Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative with manufacturing experience to join our team. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while supporting internal operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main liaison between customers and internal departments (production, sales, shipping, and quality). ccurately enter, process, and manage customer orders from start to finish. Provide customers with product, pricing, and delivery information in a professional and timely manner. Track and monitor orders, proactively communicating any delays, changes, or updates. Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly, escalating issues when necessary. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and account information. Support the production team by providing clear and accurate customer requirements. Collaborate with sales and account management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. ssist in coordinating shipping, logistics, and documentation for on-time deliveries. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, order fulfillment, and supply chain workflows. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP/MRP system experience preferred. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills. bility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Competencies:
