Tarrytown is seeking a qualified candidate to assist our Pharmacy Operators in identifying automation and workflow improvement opportunities. Leadership Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and support a team of IT Pharmacy System Support Analysts. Coordinate support activities to ensure timely resolution of application issues. Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to SLAs.
Key Duties: Manage troubleshooting and resolution of incidents related to critical applications. Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate on long-term solutions. Proactively monitor pharmacy system performance and health. Handle escalated support issues and complex cases. Coordinate system updates and upgrades with developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors. Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles. Analyze system performance trends and implement preventive strategies. Follow ITIL-based incident and change management processes.
Requirements: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of application monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle) and server OS (Windows, Linux). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and SaaS applications. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus. Experience with pharmacy-specific systems such as LTC, ECM, QS/1, DocuTrack, PioneerRx, DeliveryTrack, eRx, Surescript, HL7, and automated dispensing systems.
Soft Skills: Leadership and team management skills. Problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. At least 5 years of application support experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
