Educational Background Bachelor's Degree:

In Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications •Infoblox Certified Professional (ICP) or Infoblox Certified Expert (ICE) •Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or similar networking certifications (nice to have) •DNS/DHCP specific certifications (if available) Experience Years of Experience: •Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with DDI solutions. Hands-On Experience: •Configuration and management of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions. •Experience with DDI vendor Infoblox Technical Skills DNS: •Strong understanding of DNS protocols, zone files, and DNSSEC. •Experience with both authoritative and recursive DNS servers. DHCP: •Proficiency in DHCP server configuration, including scopes, options, and reservations. •Experience with DHCP failover and high availability. IPAM: •Expertise in IP address management, including address allocation, tracking, and reporting. •Experience with IPAM integration with DNS and DHCP. Networking: •Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols. Scripting and Automation: •Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell. •Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Cloud Experience (nice to have) •Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating DDI solutions with cloud services. Monitoring and Logging: •Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, or Prometheus. •Familiarity with log management solutions like Splunk Soft Skills Problem-Solving: •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication: •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Teamwork: •Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation Architecture Design: •Design DDI solutions that align with business requirements and best practices. Configuration: •Configure and manage DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions. •Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions. Automation (nice to have) •Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows for DDI configurations. •Integrate DDI solutions with CI/CD pipelines. Operations and Maintenance Monitoring: •Monitor DDI solution performance and health using various monitoring tools. •Set up alerts and notifications for critical issues. Troubleshooting: •Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to DNS, DHCP, and IPAM. •Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Upgrades and Patching: •Plan and execute DDI software upgrades and patches. •Ensure minimal downtime during maintenance activities. Security and Compliance Security Configurations: •Implement and maintain security configurations on DDI solutions. •Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards. Documentation Technical Documentation: •Create and maintain detailed documentation for DDI configurations, procedures, and best practices. •Document incident responses and resolutions. Collaboration Stakeholder Collaboration: •Work closely with application teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of DDI solutions. Continuous Improvement Stay Updated: •Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in DDI solutions. Process Improvement: •Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
