We are looking for an experienced Industrial Specialist to drive Industrial Hygiene (IH) programs at the client’s site as the Shirley Parsons Onsite Consultant. The client is a pharmaceutical manufacturer, and the site is a laboratory-based research and development facility. The Role: Work onsite at the client facility with the site EHS Leader to take responsibility for industrial hygiene activities at the facility. Develop and utilize roadmaps and action tracking to drive continuous improvement and measure performance. Bring the site up to Corporate industrial hygiene standards and grow the effectiveness of programs. Ensure the work product meets Shirley Parsons’ and the client’s expectations through the capabilities of vendor onsite support oversight and collaboration with applicable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The Candidate: 3+ years of industrial hygiene experience. Knowledge of State & local (San Diego) specific requirements. Strong background and knowledge of assessing risk for both chemical and biological exposure Self-management and organizational skills to prioritize, meet deadlines, and organize efforts Strong familiarity with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, NIH guidelines, and other applicable standards.
