Seeking a Housekeeper/Cook
A warm and welcoming private family is looking to hire a caring, loving, high-energy, independent self-starter to join their household. Energetic and self-directed, able to manage a structured day of cooking, household upkeep, and errands. Warm, family-oriented, and comfortable being an integral part of the household, and someone who aligns with the family's needs and values.
They value discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit.
Position:
Full-Time, ideally interested in a Live-in candidate (private suite provided) who maintains a nearby residence, or open to live-out candidates also living nearby who can work flexibly Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 12 pm-8 pm Salary:
Max $35. per hour, $1,400.00 weekly via Payroll Additional Benefits:

About the Family: The family consists of a couple and their 2 young adult daughters: Mr. travels frequently and is often away for work Mrs. is living with Parkinson's disease 1 daughter, High School Senior 1 daughter, a Junior in an out-of-state college Pet: 1-year-old docile English Bulldog Given this household dynamic, they desire to maintain a sense of comfort, privacy, and harmony within the home, especially as the role may involve light caregiving and frequent interaction with the family.

They should be naturally nurturing, have a positive attitude, and take pride in maintaining a structured, clean, and peaceful environment. Responsibilities: Housekeeping Responsibilities
General tidying and light daily cleaning of living areas Laundry: washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes Weekly bed linen refresh: changing and laundering sheets, pillowcases, and comforters Organizing closets, pantries, and common spaces Running errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, and dry cleaning Taking the family dog to scheduled grooming appointments
Cooking & Kitchen Responsibilities
Prepare daily American and Indian vegetarian meals (recipes provided) Grocery shopping and kitchen inventory management Post-meal cleanup: loading/unloading dishwasher, wiping down kitchen island, cooktops, counters, and dining tables Keeping the kitchen clean and organized after meal prep and cooking
Caregiving & Family Support
Light caregiving for a family member with Parkinson's, offering day-to-day assistance Driving family member with PD to doctors/errands as requested Creating a supportive and respectful home environment with two daughters present Other Duties
Letting the dog out as needed Occasional weekend coverage (under special situations) Ensuring smooth household operations
Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar role in a private household Excellent references Legal to work in the United States Driver's license and clean driving record, car provided Comfortable with pets, if applicable Willing to travel occasionally, if needed Background check upon a contingent offer of hire To be considered: you MUST SEND a Cover letter or paragraph with the reason why YOU are the right fit!
