Senior Corporate Accountant | Manufacturing

Faced paced manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its growing team. This position is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, executing journal entries, performing reconciliations, managing payroll-related accounting, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of US GAAP, experience with ERP systems and excellent Excel and communication skills. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the month-end close process, including:Preparing journal entriesPerforming balance sheet and account reconciliationsManaging accruals and prepaidsPerform daily cash applications for unapplied receipts and depositsComplete monthly bank and cash reconciliationsRecord payroll-related journal entries, including:401(k) true-upsFSA transactionsWorkers' compensation accrualsPrepare accruals for professional fees, consulting, and other operating expensesConduct actual vs. budget variance analysis; collaborate with department heads to resolve discrepanciesAssist with audit preparation, tax compliance reporting, and documentation for regulatory agenciesTroubleshoot accounting issues related to A/R, A/P, cash, billings, and payrollApply and interpret accounting policies and ensure consistent application across processesWork on ad hoc financial and operational projects as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principlesProficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, financial analysis)Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Microsoft D365, or similar platformsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong organizational, oral, and written communication skillsAbility to meet tight deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environmentComfortable accessing and learning multiple systems Posted On: Thursday, August 28, 2025 Compensation: $90k-$120k + 10% Bonus
