Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to support our client's large Ground Up K-12 projects across the DMV area. This role involves managing field operations, ensuring compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and safety standards while leading both self-performed and contracted work.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the job site between 6:00 to 6:30 am to start the day.
• Lead and manage field operations effectively.
• Oversee self-performed and contracted work to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and safety standards.

Essential Skills:

• Experience as a Superintendent within education facilities, with a preference for K-12 projects.
• Experience with base build and ground-up construction.
• Ability to potentially work nights and weekends to maintain project schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience supporting projects valued at $100 million.
• Experience overseeing multiple jobs simultaneously.

Work Environment:

This role is based 100% at the project site, with a commitment to place candidates at the closest job near their home, though this is not always guaranteed. Project durations typically range from 18 to 24+ months, with a presence in both Virginia and Maryland markets. The role demands early mornings, potential night and weekend work, with average weekly hours ranging from 50 to 60.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Rockville, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $107000.00 - $120000.00/yr. medical, health, dental, gas card, 4 weeks pto, company vehicle

This is a fully onsite position in Rockville, MD.
