Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site construction activities for MEP scopes. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with project plans, schedules, and specifications while maintaining compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Monitor project progress and address issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve field challenges.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to track milestones and maintain documentation.
  • Support commissioning and turnover activities for MEP systems.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision with a focus on MEP projects.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • MEP project experience preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • CSL Preferred.
  • Ability to travel to job sites across Western MA.

Work Environment

The role requires 5 days onsite during normal work hours. You will be traveling to various project sites, primarily in the Western MA area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Worcester, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $72.11/hr.
