Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Material Handler and play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This position involves the movement, storage, and tracking of materials, ensuring that production lines receive necessary supplies and inventory records remain accurate.ResponsibilitiesTransport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas, including the production floor, warehouse, and shipping areas.Supply production lines with materials needed to meet manufacturing schedules and ensure uninterrupted production.Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.Essential SkillsExperience using RF scanners to track materials.Ability to document and track where materials are stored and monitor inventory levels.Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.Familiarity with ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus).High school diploma or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?Our company offers a competitive salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401K plan and an employee assistance program.
