In this role, you’ll provide clients with financial guidance while forming lasting relationships built on trust and mutual goals. As a Financial Consultant, you will work with existing Schwab clients to provide wealth management and financial planning advice and will grow your practice over time through client asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. If you currently hold a securities license, enjoy teamwork, and share a passion for serving clients, this role may be a fit for you. Responsibilities
• Provide wealth management and financial planning guidance to existing Schwab clients. • Grow client relationships and practice through asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. • Collaborate with Schwab specialists and follow advice guidelines to help clients progress toward their goals. • Work in a team setting to serve clients and contribute to a positive investor experience. • Manage wealth on behalf of clients, including planning across retirement, education, investment management, banking and lending, insurance and risk management, and estate planning as applicable. Required Qualifications
A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as it will be required during tenure Preferred Qualifications
Ability to build strong relationships, engage clients, and deepen the client relationship with effective communication and trusted guidance Willingness to leverage team resources, market knowledge, and Schwab guidance to help clients achieve their goals Open to wealth management responsibilities including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending, insurance & risk management, and estate planning Ability to adapt to changing market and business conditions Passion for community engagement and discussing market conditions and sound investing principles with clients Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while pursuing personal development in Wealth Management For SAFE Act compliance, may need to register with the NMLS registry and complete required background checks if applicable What’s in it for you
