As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will work with existing Schwab clients, offering wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. If you currently hold a securities license, enjoy teamwork, and share a passion for serving clients, this role may be for you.
Responsibilities
Provide wealth management and financial planning guidance to existing Schwab clients.
Grow practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and referrals.
Collaborate with Schwab specialists and follow advice guidelines to help clients achieve their goals.
Engage in client communication to deepen relationships and exceed client expectations.
Offer comprehensive wealth management services including retirement, education, investment management, banking & lending, insurance & risk management, and estate planning.
Adopt changes as market and business conditions evolve.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SAFE Act where applicable).
Required Qualifications
A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license is required.
Currently obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance is required during tenure.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to build strong relationships, engage clients, and deepen client relationships with a focused communication strategy.
Ability to leverage Schwab specialists, guidelines, market knowledge, and ability to inspire action to help clients progress toward goals.
Willingness to manage wealth including retirement, education, investment management, banking & lending, insurance & risk management, and estate planning.
Adaptability to market and business changes.
Passion for community engagement and discussions about market conditions and sound investing principles.
Desire to deliver an outstanding investor experience while pursuing professional development in Wealth Management.
Compliance: If applicable, registration with the NMLS for residential loan mortgage originations and related background checks.
Compensation and Benefits In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities. Review our Investment Professionals’ incentive structure.
