Overview
Territory: New England (MA, NH, VT, ME, CT, RI, Upstate NY) We are seeking an experienced Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a field-based medical expert and engage in scientific exchange with thought leaders and healthcare providers. The MSL will enhance understanding of oncology/hematology products (marketed and pipeline), gather insights to inform strategy, and support clinical and medical initiatives. Candidates must reside near a major airport within the territory and be able to travel 50–70%. Responsibilities
Exchange relevant clinical and scientific information with thought leaders and HCPs. Build and maintain relationships with regional thought leaders to understand healthcare trends. Provide accurate, compliant responses to on/off-label inquiries. Represent the organization at medical meetings, conferences, and educational events. Capture and share key scientific insights with internal stakeholders. Support Company Sponsored Studies (Phase I–IV) and investigator-sponsored study processes. Train and facilitate speakers on oncology/hematology products. Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, HEOR, R&D, and Commercial teams. Contribute to strategic planning, committees, and medical plan execution. Stay current on therapeutic area knowledge and emerging treatments. Qualifications
Doctoral degree in a scientific discipline (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, DPT, Nursing, or equivalent) required. Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Oncology MSL. Strong knowledge of oncology/hematology market dynamics. Excellent scientific communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Deep understanding of compliance, regulatory, and medical communication standards. GI oncology experience preferred. Ability to travel extensively (50–70%). Why Apply
