Revantage, A Blackstone Portfolio Company We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Associate, Payroll to join our organization. The Associate, Payroll will be responsible for overseeing payroll operations and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 2,000 employees. This role requires strong knowledge and experience in payroll management, as well as expertise in utilizing Workday software. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-state payrolls, a deep understanding of payroll regulations and compliance, and the ability to optimize payroll processes through effective use of technology. Process payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and timekeeping information for accuracy. Process termination, relocation and other special payrolls in keeping with company policies and regulatory requirements. Review and reconcile payroll reports to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors. Investigate potential errors and plan administration actions, including documentation and recommendations to resolve. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure accurate payroll data and resolve payroll-related inquiries. Notify Treasury of wire funding needs for payroll and provide reports of upcoming payroll amounts for cash flow management. Liaise with third-party processing providers for timely and accurate filing, payment and reconciliation of reporting. Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for timekeeping, tax, garnishment, payroll and related questions for employees and managers. Provide a consistent, high level of customer service and escalate as needed to seek resolution. Workday Payroll Management

Act as the subject matter expert on Workday payroll and timekeeping functionality. Utilize Workday to manage payroll processes, including setup, data entry, and calculations. Collaborate with HR technology to modify and test system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades related to payroll processing. Troubleshoot system issues, provide end-user support, and coordinate with Workday, ADP and PEO support teams as needed. Compliance And Reporting

Stay up to date on payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Ensure accurate and timely filing of payroll-related reports and tax filings. Prepare and distribute employee payroll statements and reports (earnings summaries, tax forms, year-end documentation). Coordinate with auditors and respond to payroll-related audit inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information and adhere to data privacy and security standards. Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency through automation and system enhancements. Implement best practices and standardized procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in payroll operations. Continuously monitor and evaluate payroll practices and systems, recommending improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, compliance, and the employee experience. Create and update SOPs. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field. Minimum of 3 years of multi-state payroll and tax experience. Minimum of 1 year experience in Workday Timekeeping and Payroll (highly preferred). Minimum of 1 year experience in ADP Smart Compliance (highly preferred). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Formulas), PowerPoint, and Word. Self-motivated with the ability to excel in fast-paced environments. Analytical and problem-solving skills; highly organized with attention to detail. Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, wage & hour, and labor laws. Preferred

Experience in a shared services environment or with outsourced service providers. Experience with Workday, ADP, and PEO platforms. Certified Payroll Professional. Compensation and Benefits

Base Compensation Range: $85,000.00 to $110,000.00. This reflects the low and high end of the base range and may vary by location and experience. Total Direct Compensation may include discretionary bonus and incentive compensation. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings, paid holidays and PTO. Additional terms apply per governing plans and policies. EEO
