As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence and strategic growth of our organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and customer delivery. This executive position demands a visionary leader who can optimize processes, foster innovation in product development, and scale operations to meet increasing demand in a competitive market. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with business goals, emphasizing efficiency, quality, and sustainability while navigating the complexities of a technology-driven manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage all operational functions, including production, supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products. Develop and implement strategic operational plans that support company growth, including scaling manufacturing capabilities, optimizing resource allocation, and integrating advanced technologies for automation and efficiency. Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from design and fabrication to shipping and installation, while maintaining compliance with industry standards, patents, and regulatory requirements. Build and mentor high-performing teams across operations, engineering, and support functions, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Analyze operational metrics and KPIs to identify areas for enhancement, implementing data-driven initiatives to reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to forecast demand, manage budgets, and align operations with revenue targets and market trends. Drive sustainability efforts by incorporating eco-friendly practices into manufacturing and supply chain processes, ensuring alignment with environmental goals. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure reliable, high-quality materials and services at competitive prices. Mitigate operational risks through robust contingency planning, quality assurance protocols, and crisis management strategies. Champion the use of digital tools, such as CAD / Revit integration and real-time quoting systems, to streamline workflows and enhance client experiences. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (e.g., COO, VP of Operations) within manufacturing, architecture, construction, or related industries. Proven track record of scaling operations in a growth-oriented company, ideally with experience in innovative product lines involving motorized systems, modular designs, or architectural solutions. Strong expertise in supply chain optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and ERP systems, with a demonstrated ability to implement process improvements that drive efficiency and profitability. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience building and motivating diverse teams in fast-paced environments. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. Knowledge of patent processes, quality control standards (e.g., STC-rated products), and regulatory compliance in manufacturing. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of fostering relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and clients at all levels. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovative setting, with a passion for technology integration and sustainable practices. Willingness to travel as needed for site visits, vendor meetings, and industry events. Compensation The base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The compensation package also includes performance-based bonuses and equity opportunities.
