Our client is seeking a driven and skilled associate to join their dynamic
Public M&A team . This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in
high-profile, headline-grabbing transactions , including both buy-side and sell-side mergers, acquisitions, and related
securities law matters . You will play a crucial part in the entire deal lifecycle, from conducting due diligence and drafting transaction documents to negotiating complex terms and advising clients on regulatory compliance. The position is designed for an attorney who thrives on challenge and is eager to develop a versatile skill set in a fast-paced environment. The work will primarily focus on transactional matters, with a significant emphasis on supporting companies in the
technology and life sciences sectors . This is a
hands-on role
that offers direct exposure to multifaceted corporate matters and the chance to
collaborate with industry leaders . Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school Admission to a state bar, with eligibility to become admitted to the DC Bar promptly 3-6 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions and general corporate transactional law Demonstrable experience with transactions involving public companies Preferred Skills
Prior experience working with technology or life sciences companies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A strong academic background.
