The Opportunity
As a Senior Sustainment Manager, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a seasoned Senior Sustainment Manager, who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
You Have
8+ years of experience with Project Management, Program Management, or Product Support Management within DoD or NAVSEA Program Offices
2+ years of experience in New Construction or Shipbuilding PM support
Knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements and Federal Acquisition processes
Knowledge of military or commercial Unmanned Systems
Ability to develop senior IPS or PM products and engage with and brief senior leadership on those products
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a Program Management, Acquisition, or Business field
Nice If You Have
Experience with Unmanned Maritime System (UMS) Acquisition or UMS Sustainment Management
Knowledge of Unmanned Maritime Systems
Master's degree in Program Management, Acquisition, Business, or a related field
PMP or SCRUM Certification
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain organizational programs in support of Navy clients and Department of Defense system sustainment strategies.
Review maintenance and sustainment contracts and project costs for client Navy platforms in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Support tactical planning using resources like MS Project and Power BI; engage with system stakeholders, subject matter experts, schedulers, and project analysts.
Communicate to ensure the program achieves goals and meets quality standards; contribute to developing and maintaining program strategy.
Impact meaningful missions while supporting team growth and client success.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Compensation
Salary is determined by location and the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. Projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
