Parking Operations Supervisor
plays a key leadership role in planning, administering, and overseeing Stanford\'s parking programs. This role focuses on optimizing parking operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the department\'s strategic objectives. You\'ll lead a dedicated team of two while coordinating across campus partners to deliver a world-class parking experience for the Stanford community.
Key Areas of Oversight
Event and reserved parking coordination
Parking enforcement operations using LPR technology
Signage inventory management and renewal
Parking utilization data collection and analysis
Customer experience enhancement and operational problem-solving
How you will spend your time
Lead and manage event parking operations while supporting enforcement, asset audits, signage updates, and parking data collection
Oversee parking utilization analytics to inform data-driven decisions balancing parking supply and demand
Monitor citation trends, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for training, signage improvements, and policy updates
Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop team members; conduct performance reviews and coach for professional growth
Manage scheduling, assignments, and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and policy compliance
Partner closely with university stakeholders to address operational issues, propose solutions, and improve processes
Supervise third-party vendors and manage contracts to maintain high service standards
Prepare monthly reports and lead process improvement initiatives to streamline operations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
4+ years of experience in parking operations, enforcement, or similar regulatory environments
Proven project management capabilities; previous project management experience strongly preferred
Strong budget forecasting and resource management skills
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and customer service abilities
Valid California Class C Driver\'s License required
Preferred: Coursework in business administration, public administration, law enforcement, or related fields
