What you will do
Lead with a growth mindset, successfully guiding the business toward new opportunities.
Be a cultural ambassador – foster engagement, alignment and excellence within the business and community enabling a destination workplace.
Promote and reinforce our strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all regulations while fostering a proactive, safety-first mindset across the team
Monitor field and office recruiting activities for organizational unit; perform recruiting activities, with the assistance of the Talent Acquisition team
Lead your team’s talent management process and assist your team with creating career development plans for their respective teammates
Work with sales and account managers to assure on time customer renewals and proactively position contract price increases
Ensure that processes are utilized for Business Development activities (CRM, go-no-go, bid reviews, signature approval authority) as well as emerging sales and prospecting tools
Manage teams in the planning and execution of projects and quoted work to meet or beat estimates, and exceed the customers’ expectations.
You should have
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
10+ years’ experience in building services operations, maintenance management, or service-based project sales, including leadership experience; OR 15+ years of relevant experience without a degree
10 years of in-depth experience with building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) including lifecycle cost management, maintenance planning, and performance optimization
Deep understanding of industry standards, compliance regulations (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, ASHRAE), and best practices for building services operations
Advanced knowledge of building systems performance, service delivery models, budgeting, and facility project oversight
Advanced ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance
