Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus Sr. Technical Recruiter @ Gotham Technology Group | Expert in IT Recruitment Our client, an investment fund based in NYC, is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to drive modernization across their hybrid IT environment. This is a full-time opportunity offering high-impact responsibilities within a fast-paced, collaborative, and technology-driven culture. As they continue to enhance their infrastructure and security posture, the Infrastructure Engineer will own and optimize the infrastructure environment while also supporting day-to-day IT operations and projects across a sophisticated enterprise tech stack. This role will lead or contribute to multiple infrastructure projects, as well as operational responsibilities including support, patching, scripting, endpoint protection, and network configuration. 4 days a week onsite, Base plus bonus and comprehensive benefit package Key Responsibilities

Architect, manage, and optimize the network security infrastructure, including, virtual networking. Support hybrid cloud infrastructure projects and maintain a secure, highly available environment. Drive infrastructure optimization, including cost efficiency, performance tuning, and automation of routine tasks Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Terraform). Administer security tools and processes across a wide range of platforms (see tech stack below). Support and enhance incident response and disaster recovery strategies. Monitor and maintain performance, availability, and health of systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud, network, and endpoint layers. Evaluate and deploy tools to improve monitoring, patch management, and system hardening. Technology Environment

You dont need to have experience with every tool, but a strong working knowledge in most of the following is expected: Security & Monitoring:

CrowdStrike, Darktrace, Qualys or similar, Okta, Intune, JIRA Operations:

Patch management, disaster recovery, scripting, pen testing and vulnerability scanning (VAP scans) Collaboration:

Work closely with leadership and security to define and enforce security policies and incident response protocols. Qualifications

Infrastructure engineering experience in complex, security-focused environments Strong experience in Azure, including VM, networking, automation, and recovery planning Strong experience in network architecture, firewall technologies, and enterprise security. Proficiency with PowerShell or similar scripting tools for automation and operational efficiency Experience supporting security tools and implementing hardening best practices Hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki devices Track record of success working in lean IT teams within financial services or similarly regulated environments Strong documentation skills and experience working within ticketing systems like JIRA Self-starter with excellent troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills Why Join?
