Mortgage Servicing Professionals

to join our team at the FHA Resource Center in Indianapolis, IN. Join our Leidos Mortgage Customer Service team, where you will support the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Single-Family Housing, in their mission to foster strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for everyone. As a Mortgage Servicing Customer Service Associate, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives while deepening your knowledge of Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage policies and procedures. Available positions: Full-time roles (30 - 40 hours per week).

Shifts from 10:00 am - 6:30 pm ET in Indianapolis, IN (subject to change based on customer needs).

Your role as a Customer Service Associate will involve: Delivering outstanding customer service by responding to various calls and emails related to FHA guidelines and procedures.

Utilizing your mortgage servicing knowledge to find answers from a knowledge database to assist clients.

Adhering to standard operating procedures across various topics, systems, and channels.

Recording all interactions in a database for consistency and accuracy.

Keeping abreast of the latest FHA mortgage processes and procedures.

To excel in this role, you should have: The ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications effectively.

Excellent time management skills and a strong sense of dependability.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside effective telephone etiquette.

A keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.

Required qualifications include: A High School diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing (e.g. loan servicing specialist, loss mitigation specialist).

At least 1 year of experience in a contact center or telephone customer service role.

Capability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which involves a credit check and background investigation.

Willingness to work an 8-hour shift (including a 30-minute lunch break), Monday to Friday, based on business needs.

Desired qualifications: Experience or knowledge related to FHA operations.

Contact center experience across multiple communication channels.
