Mortgage Servicing Professionals

to join our FHA Resource Center team. As part of the Leidos Mortgage Customer Service team, you will contribute to the mission of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and support their efforts to foster strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and provide quality affordable homes. Mortgage Servicing opportunities available: Part-time (25 - 29 hours per week)

Shifts from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm ET (Indianapolis, IN) as required by customer needs

As a Mortgage Servicing Customer Service Representative, you will: Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to calls and emails related to FHA guidelines and procedures

Utilize your mortgage servicing knowledge to find answers in our knowledge database to assist customers' requests effectively

Adhere to standard operating procedures across various topics, systems, and communication channels

Accurately document every customer interaction in our database

Stay updated on FHA mortgage processes and procedures to enhance service delivery

To excel as a Mortgage Servicing Customer Service Representative, you should have: The ability to navigate multiple computer systems and utilize search tools to provide correct information to clients

Strong time management and reliability

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette

A keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minute

Required Qualifications: High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate

A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing (e.g., loan servicing specialist, loss mitigation specialist)

At least 1 year of experience in a contact center or telephone customer service setting

Willingness to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation

Availability to work an 8-hour shift (including a 30-minute lunch break), Monday to Friday, based on business needs

Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are a plus, both verbal and written

Desired Qualifications: Experience or knowledge related to FHA

Familiarity with contact center environments (Omnichannel)
