Mortgage Servicing Professionals

to join our team at the FHA Resource Center in Indianapolis, IN. As part of the Leidos Mortgage Customer Service team, you will support the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in their mission to foster strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and provide quality affordable housing for everyone. In this role, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of customers while deepening your understanding of Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage policies and procedures. Available Mortgage Servicing Opportunities: Full-time (30 - 40 hours per week).

Shifts from 10:00 am - 6:30 pm ET in Indianapolis, IN (subject to customer needs).

Your Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing calls and emails related to FHA guidelines and procedures.

Utilize your mortgage servicing knowledge to efficiently find answers in our knowledge base to assist clients.

Adhere to standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact methods.

Document all interactions within a centralized database.

Stay informed about current FHA mortgage processes and procedures.

To Excel in This Role, You Will Need: Adeptness at navigating multiple computer systems and applications to find necessary information for clients.

Strong time management skills and a reputation for reliability.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including effective telephone etiquette.

Keyboarding skills with a proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.

Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED.

At least 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing (e.g., loan servicing or loss mitigation roles).

A minimum of 1 year in a contact center or customer service telephone role.

Capability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, involving a credit check and background investigation.

Availability for an 8-hour shift, including a 30-minute lunch break, Monday - Friday based on business needs.

Desired Qualifications: Experience with FHA processes Omnichannel contact center experience.
