Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end architecture and design for Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations.

Define and oversee rating models, price match strategies, and comparison logic with legacy systems.

Architect and integrate Earnix rating system with Guidewire for advanced pricing and rating capabilities.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, actuaries, and product teams to align rating strategies with business objectives.

Provide architectural guidance and leadership to development teams throughout project lifecycle.

Establish best practices, coding standards, and reusable components for Guidewire implementation.

Ensure solution designs meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.

Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies for enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.

Act as the primary point of contact for technology roadmap, architecture governance, and design reviews.

Support migration and modernization strategies from legacy rating engines to Guidewire + Earnix ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in Insurance domain (P&C preferred).

5+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation, configuration, and integration.

Strong knowledge of rating systems, pricing models, price match, and rating comparison strategies.

Hands-on experience with Earnix integration and/or other advanced rating platforms.

Solid understanding of insurance product configuration, underwriting rules, workflows, and policy transactions.

Proficiency in Java, GOSU, XML, and Guidewire APIs.

Strong background in enterprise integration patterns (SOAP, REST, MQ, Kafka, etc.).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Excellent leadership skills with experience guiding development teams and mentoring junior architects.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Guidewire Certified Specialist / Certified Ace in PolicyCenter.

Experience in Earnix or other advanced pricing/rating engines.

Familiarity with DevOps, microservices, and API-first architecture in insurance ecosystems.

Knowledge of legacy system migration strategies within insurance.
