Brooksource is looking for an experienced Senior Power Apps Developer to join our Mortgage Services client in Dallas, Texas. This developer will play a key role in building and enhancing enterprise-grade applications on the Microsoft Power Platform. You will work closely with architects, AppDev teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-friendly, and secure solutions that drive digital transformation. In this role, you will leverage Power Apps Canvas Apps, integrate with diverse data sources, and build custom connectors to extend enterprise functionality. Beyond Power Platform expertise, youll bring experience with additional programming languages to deliver modern, integrated solutions. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in creating and managing custom connectors and integrating with APIs and multiple data sources Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem Understanding of enterprise application architecture, data modeling, and security practices Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with the Business Analyst team to review user stories, validate requirements, and ensure correct assumptions are being made before development begins. Contribute to the design process by providing technical input and shaping solutions that align with enterprise standards. Translate requirements into clearly actionable development tasks and deliver on commitments with high-quality, maintainable code. Design, build, and deploy Power Apps Canvas and model-driven applications that integrate with enterprise back-end systems such as SQL Server and SharePoint. Develop and manage custom connectors to enable seamless integration with diverse data sources and support enterprise-level solutions. Partner with the QA team to ensure applications are tested, validated, and meet business and technical requirements. Support modernization efforts by contributing to both Power Platform solutions and traditional application development (e.g., C, Java, or scripting languages) when needed. Participate in cross-training and knowledge sharing with other developers, ensuring long-term maintainability of applications and team growth. Contribute to upcoming enterprise-wide initiatives, including a large-scale Canvas application for document management and status tracking.
