In this role you will provide financial guidance and wealth management services to Schwab clients, forming lasting relationships built on trust and a shared goal. You will have the opportunity to grow your professional practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals, within Schwab’s collaborative and supportive culture.
As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be engaged with existing Schwab clients to deliver wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. If you currently have your securities license, enjoy working in a team setting, and share our passion for serving clients, this role is for you.

Procure and work with existing Schwab clients, providing wealth management and financial planning guidance. Grow the practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. Collaborate with Schwab specialists and apply Schwab advice guidelines to help clients progress toward their goals.
QualificationsRequired
A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance license during tenure on the job Preferred
Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen client relationships using focused client communication and exceeding expectations. Willingness to leverage Schwab specialists, guidelines, market knowledge, and the ability to inspire action to help clients progress toward goals. Openness to manage wealth for clients including Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning Ability to adapt to changing market and business conditions Passion for community engagement to discuss market conditions and sound investing principles with clients Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while developing your career in Wealth Management
Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process.
