Clinical Director
role on behalf of a well-respected community-focused organization in Santa Cruz County, CA. This full-time, onsite position serves as a clinical leader in supporting families and individuals across diverse communities. We are seeking a licensed and compassionate
Clinical Director
to oversee behavioral health services within a community-centered family program. This role provides agency-wide clinical leadership, supervises therapists and interns, ensures compliance with Medi-Cal and regulatory requirements, and helps shape program sustainability. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who brings strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed care. Perks and Benefits

Lead and oversee behavioral health programming, ensuring compliance with Medi-Cal and regulatory standards Provide clinical supervision and mentorship for staff, including pre-licensed therapists and interns Partner with leadership to strengthen care coordination across programs and improve behavioral health integration Oversee program reporting, audits, and quality assurance for clinical services Support staff with training in best practices such as motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care Offer direct client services including assessment, referral, consultation, and group facilitation as needed Qualifications
Current LMFT or LCSW license in good standing (LCSW preferred) Eligible to provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed staff Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health compliance, Medi-Cal billing, and community-based clinical practices Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a commitment to equity and inclusion Compensation And Benefits
This role offers an annual salary range of $135,000-$150,000, plus a bilingual differential for qualified candidates. The position includes a generous and comprehensive benefits package valued at nearly $10,000 annually, covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program. Additional benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, wellness days, and eligibility for a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
