We aim to improve decision-making quality and speed across the organization to enable a deeper understanding of customers and products, focusing on efficient analytic execution and becoming the go-to experts for better, faster insights from data. Were looking for a Data Analyst to join the Data Science & Insights team at Snap. Responsibilities

Understand business challenges and needs to help leadership make data-driven decisions by analyzing and combining data across multiple sources. Distill complicated analytical concepts for broader audiences and influence decision making through a data story. Use data and logic to impact client and business success by providing analysis, insights, reports and actionable recommendations. Build and maintain dashboards and reports to help the business understand and optimize advertiser performance and product development through a client-centric lens. Function as a thought leader, offering insights related to vertical or category industry trends to inform Snaps in-market pitch. Proactively identify projects that impact revenue, define scope and objectives, and propose a course of action to attain objectives. Identify performance trends across auction campaigns to fuel optimization recommendations; evangelize best practices across the account management group. Design, build and maintain data structures to facilitate reporting and monitoring key performance indicators; monitor and investigate changes in KPIs for products. Develop and maintain ETL routines using ETL and orchestration tools such as Airflow; perform SQL and ETL tuning as necessary; perform and report results from straightforward AB experimentations. Collaborate with Sales, Creative Strategy, Marketing Science, and Product Solutions to ensure campaigns run optimally and adapt to new findings. Build solutions using high technical standards, following best practices. This may include writing high-quality SQL and building basic dashboards using visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau. Bachelor's degree in analytics, data science, information systems, computer science, business, marketing, communications, economics, or related area or equivalent experience 3+ years of relevant professional experience in an analytical field 2+ years of experience using SQL Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of data modeling principles including dimensional modeling and data normalization Expertise in data exploration / data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. Excellent conceptual and analytical reasoning competencies Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python/R) 2+ years of experience with workflow management tools (Airflow, Oozie, Azkaban, UC4) Experience with defining, implementing and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments Experience in a sales-facing environment - supporting Sales on client / vertical / or business-level requests with insights If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please contact us through appropriate channels as part of the application process. Compensation: In the United States, the starting pay is determined by factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions. Base salary ranges vary by pay zone. This position is eligible for equity in RSUs. Zone A: $118,000-$176,000; Zone B: $112,000-$167,000; Zone C: $100,000-$150,000. This positions pay zones may be updated in the future. #J-18808-Ljbffr
