Senior Application Analyst - Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Seeking an experienced Senior Application Analyst with expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related applications. This role will be based onsite at our Houston warehouse facility and will be responsible for maintaining system performance, driving improvements, and partnering closely with business users and IT vendors. Responsibilities Provide hands-on technical support for WMS and other supply chain tools Analyze, design, test, and deploy system enhancements and fixes Monitor and maintain data flows and system interfaces; troubleshoot and resolve errors Lead application patching, upgrades, and hotfix rollouts, including testing and deployment coordination Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements Manage task lists and document processes and updates clearly Work directly with warehouse leadership, IT teams, and vendors to coordinate support and improvements Mentor junior analysts and provide training materials and documentation Promote IT application and development standards across the team Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support
Qualifications
Associates degree plus 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of directly relevant experience in lieu of degree Minimum 3 years in IT application support or systems analysis Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Proficiency in SQL, including writing and updating queries/scripts Familiarity with Windows Server environments Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Preferred: experience with ERP systems
