Receptionist Position At St. Anthony Hospital
St. Anthony Hospital is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to be the crucial first point of contact for our patients! You'll be responsible for a variety of administrative support duties associated with the patient intake process, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors. What you'll do every day to ensure a seamless patient experience includes: Efficient intake & check-in: Perform patient check-in, completing all necessary paperwork to ensure an efficient admitting process and compliance with clinic and regulatory policies. Communication hub: Expertly answer and direct phone calls, and skillfully schedule patient appointments according to office guidelines. Accurate financial & records handling: Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductibles. You'll meticulously copy/scan materials into the electronic medical record (EMR) and prepare charts for patient appointments. Seamless check-out: Conduct all functions associated with patient check-out, including pricing services, collecting patient payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments. Proactive communication: Confirm next-day appointments and alert patients to needed documentation (including time-of-service payment details). You'll also follow up on our Missed Appointment Policy as needed. Support operations: Assist with record filing and retrieval, ensuring accurate and accessible documentation.
