Responsibilities

St. Anthony Hospital is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to be the crucial first point of contact for our patients. You\'ll be responsible for a variety of administrative support duties associated with the patient intake process, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

  • Efficient Intake & Check-in: Perform patient check-in, completing all necessary paperwork to ensure an efficient admitting process and compliance with clinic and regulatory policies.
  • Communication Hub: Expertly answer and direct phone calls, and schedule patient appointments according to office guidelines.
  • Accurate Financial & Records Handling: Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductibles. Copy/scan materials into the electronic medical record (EMR) and prepare charts for patient appointments.
  • Seamless Check-out: Conduct all functions associated with patient check-out, including pricing services, collecting patient payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Proactive Communication: Confirm next-day appointments and alert patients to needed documentation (including time-of-service payment details). Follow up on the Missed Appointment Policy as needed.
  • Support Operations: Assist with record filing and retrieval, ensuring accurate and accessible documentation.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range

$19.25 - $24.94 /hour
