Software Development Engineer
(SDE) role in the engineering team that delivers the sensor on Windows/Linux/Mac OS X. SDEs own design and development of features for the Exposure Management product group, crossing core OS subsystems such as file system, memory, process, and networking. Features may share components across Windows, Mac and Linux. The team operates under Agile development principles and ships frequently. Responsibilities
Lead engineering efforts and work with Product Management to help define the scope of work Demonstrate ownership, accountability and collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographically distributed product groups Design and develop user-mode software for deployment on Windows systems Own features from design to delivery Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various physical locations Troubleshoot product issues as reported by customers responsively Develop software for products as assigned (Falcon Discover, and more) Qualifications
Can develop high-quality code in C++ for Windows OS and demonstrate capability through job experience or community contributions Experience working on a team to ship major features and releases Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team Understanding of networking fundamentals Mac and Linux OS development experience is a plus Experience building cybersecurity related products is a plus Experience developing product code with high concurrency and multi-threading for reliability Benefits
