Office Services Specialist - On Call / Field Support Specialist SPS
Overview
The Field Support Specialist will be assigned to provide backfill coverage within their assigned region, filling in for staff that will be on scheduled and unscheduled time off. This assignment could be same day due to unscheduled call outs. This role is critical for customer satisfaction, continuity of business, and meeting service level agreements, ensuring customers receive continuous coverage in conformance with SLAs. The FSS delivers operational functions across service lines including shipping & receiving, print & binding, facilities, hospitality, concierge, reception, data entry, document scanning, inventory/supplies management, and other site-specific processes within SPS core business lines and SLAs. Training will be facilitated at SPS sites within the region to establish FSS familiarity with other SPS sites. Responsibilities Mail Services: provide world class service to all clients; process inbound/outbound mail and packages; manage shipping/receiving duties. Reprographics Services: assist with copy/print production, monitor equipment, provide binding services, operate and maintain multifunction devices, scan/document imaging, and light copy/print reproduction. Office Services: maintain Office Services Center in a neat/ordered fashion; stock and replenish pantry, conference, kitchen and meeting areas; perform general preventive maintenance; oversee equipment maintenance and safety tests; manage breakroom cleanliness and supplies; set up meeting/conference rooms; monitor and replenish office supplies. Front of House: provide reception/concierge coverage; welcome guests, catalog guest information, and orient clients; maintain professional representation of SPS; manage lobby experience and guest access coordination with Building Security; answer calls and route appropriately; log visitors into registration systems; provide light administrative support as directed.
Travel: travel to SPS sites within the region as required by business needs; assignments may involve moving between sites after arrival at home location. Qualifications & Competencies: strong verbal/written communication; excellent customer service; intermediate to expert MS Office; ability to multitask; good organizational skills; working knowledge of MFD equipment; understanding of shipping/receiving procedures; ability to work independently and complete projects; proactive with downtime; professional relationships with customers and teams; maintain professionalism under stress. Physical Demands: ability to lift up to 25 lbs individually and 50 lbs with assistance; ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for extended periods; manual dexterity for office machinery; vision requirements including color/brightness perception as needed for equipment calibration.
Required Education/Experience: High School Diploma (or equivalent); 6+ months prior work experience preferred; ability to work assigned hours; strong organizational/time-management skills; problem-solving aptitude; effective written and verbal communication; ability to learn computer-based systems; professional appearance and attitude; adherence to policies and procedures. Salary/Benefits: Pay Range $21 - $22 USD.
