Position Overview: The HR Manager will lead all routine HR functions within the community, including recruiting, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and regulations to foster a fair, consistent, and compliant culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership in recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Present and explain benefit plans to care team members, including changes and enrollment procedures.
- Ensure communication and documentation regarding benefits are provided, especially during status changes.
- Maintain compliance with employee files, including I-9, E-Verify, and EEO documentation.
- Track OSHA logs and assist with investigations of work-related incidents.
- Respond to unemployment claims and maintain compliance with employment laws.
- Assist with leave requests, benefits, PTO, and related documentation.
- Provide guidance on sensitive issues, including accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of HR experience; long-term care experience preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
