OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for aProduction Floaterwho will play a crucial role in providing assistance across various functions within the organization. This position requires a flexible, adaptable individual who can effectively support different teams, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Dynamic role that may require moving between departments and adapting to different work environments
Collaborate with different teams to provide support based on immediate needs and priorities
Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts
Support various departments with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and documentation
Perform a variety of production support tasks such as assembling components, packaging products, and assisting with materials
Conduct basic quality checks to ensure work meets standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Comply with all safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to different production tasks and roles
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate machinery and assemble products
Basic computer skills for data entry and production documentation
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
