Role Overview
We are partnering with our client to find a hands-on, strategic finance leader ready to shape the portfolio-wide finance function from the ground up. This high-impact role will own budgeting, KPI tracking, consolidated reporting, covenant compliance, and post-acquisition integration, working side by side with the founders to create a world-class finance operation that drives rapid, sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- A. Strategic Finance & Planning Lead group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Establish and monitor performance metrics across portfolio companies, with roll-up reporting to the firm level
- Provide commercial insights on growth, retention, margins, and overall financial health
- B. Accounting & Controls Oversee monthly close activities and set consistent accounting practices across the group
- Deliver consolidated reporting (actuals, budgets, and variances) and manage the annual audit cycle
- Partner with advisors to ensure efficient tax and structural outcomes, including cross-border considerations
- C. Debt & External Reporting Manage all deliverables tied to financing arrangements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Liaise with portfolio finance teams, external accountants, and auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and submit reporting packages for lenders and the board
- D. M&A Support & Integration Contribute to financial due diligence on new investments as needed
- Build out core finance infrastructure (dashboards, close processes, reporting standards) across acquired businesses
- Collaborate with external partners on transaction mechanics and integration of financial reporting
What Were Looking For
- 610 years experience spanning finance, FP&A, accounting, or corporate development
- Skilled in managing consolidation across multiple entities and currencies
- Background in SaaS, M&A, or roll-up environments
- Strong familiarity with debt compliance and related obligations
- Bonus: experience with cross-border tax and structuring

- Accurate consolidated financials monthly within 10 days
- Proactive lender updates and covenant compliance with zero misses
- Robust annual budget and re-forecast process with buy-in from Portco GMs
