Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe EHS Director is responsible for developing and maintaining the EHS program at Wisconsin Centrifugal to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory standards and guidelines. The position works with cross-functional teams throughout all divisions, driving continuous improvement of our environmental and safety culture.Major responsibilities include:Maintain accurate and timely EHS compliance reporting at WCDevelop and maintain Wisconsin Centrifugal's EHS program to ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and Wisconsin DNR regulations and guidelinesAct as hazardous waste subject matter expert, including monitoring documentation, reporting, and coordinating disposalConduct environmental monitoring and reporting, including internal EHS auditsManage environmental permits and communication with regulatory agenciesPlan and adhere to the department budgetInteract with 3rd party EHS and Safety partnersManage and direct safety staff to fulfill front-line safety and compliance for the division.Perform analysis and reporting on safety performanceCoordinate and facilitate regulatory visits Conduct SWOT analysis of EHS practices across divisionsConduct safety meetings at the WC and with the corporate safety teamBe an SME on hazardous materialsDefine the new employee onboarding safety program.Define and train all divisions to standard incident reviews, root cause analysis and corrective action process and tracking.Lead coordination and harmonization of the EHS process and training across MetalTek.Lead the EHS shared services team and facilitate company strategy developmentBe the Subject matter expert on EHS and Safety across all divisions.RequirementsQualifications: The candidate we seek should have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety and Environmental Management or other Environmental and Safety-related disciplines with a minimum of 5-7 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of applicable EHS regulations, ensuring compliance with government agencies and safety regulations, is required.
